College Facilities

The College is situated on approximately 6 hectares of land, and buildings and facilities are of a high standard. Recent projects have included:

  • A $2 million multi-purpose community hall incorporating a high quality basketball court, showers, staging and sound facilities, a uniform shop and a canteen.
  • An administration building.
  • A new car park.

The current facilities were the vision and implementation of the Kalgoorlie Baptist Church, and were developed with the assistance of the State and Federal governments and the City of Kalgoorlie/Boulder Council.

Enrolment at the College has continued to grow.  Currently there are students for Kindergarten to Year 10 and it is envisaged that the College will continue to grow from strength to strength.

Stage I, II, III, Community Hall, Admin Building and extended car park are now complete, yet much ground development is still being undertaken.  The completed facilities will continue by stages over the next several years.

All classrooms are air-conditioned and well-equipped.  We have 11 smart boards installed in classrooms.  The College has over 200 computers on campus. The College is currently in the process of rolling out our new IT program which we believe will be implemented by 2015/16. The College has equipped all teachers with state-of-the-art laptops as the first step to this important program. Teachers have already started training to further enhance their knowledge to use technology effectively in the classroom.

The College has excellent information and communication technology infrastructures that support communication, the curriculum, pastoral care processes and student attendance.
