Currently Available Positions

Being in a regional setting in the Goldfields means that Kalgoorlie and its surrounds have a highly transient population.  As such, employment opportunities present themselves at Goldfields Baptist College with some regularity.  We are happy to receive employment applications at any point throughout the year.

Our currently available teaching roles include:

  • 2024 Primary Classroom Teacher (1.0 FTE)
  • 2024 Primary Specialist Teacher (0.6 FTE)
  • Secondary English Teacher (two positions, up to 1.0 FTE each)
  • Secondary Business and Accounting Teacher (up to 1.0 FTE with generalist subjects, or 0.6 FTE Senior Secondary specialisation only)

Applicants will be required to demonstrate:

  • Evidence of registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (GBC will consider Limited Authority to Teach applications for staff who are in the process of attaining registration due to interstate relocations, etc.)
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Engagement with GBC’s Christian ethos

Our currently available non-teaching roles include:

  • 2024 Business Manager (1.0 FTE) *Executive position
  • Assets and Maintenance Manager (full time)
  • Primary Education Assistant (1.0 FTE)
  • Marketing and Communications Officer *Administration position
  • Fees Collection Officer (one day per week) *Finance position
  • Canteen Manager
