Philip Rixon

Philip Rixon joined the Board in late 2023.  He is a mine manager, and has been in Kalgoorlie since 2008.  Philip’s four children have passed through the College at junior and senior level.  He is keen to help the College achieve the best outcomes with the staff and resources available.

Vaughan Pirie

Vaughan joined the Board in May 2022. He is the pastor of Kalgoorlie Baptist Church. He joined the board with many life experiences: He has an accounting and business qualification, he was one of the founding teachers of GBC, he and his wife Cathy served for more than 11 years in Thailand as Cross-Cultural workers working with a multi-national organisation, and served as the Families Pastor for a church for three years once their time in Thailand came to a conclusion. He and Cathy have two school aged sons and he is an avid West Coast Eagles supporter.
