Danielle Thompson
Danielle moved to Kalgoorlie from Perth in March 2020 and joined the Board in September 2021. During the working week, she is based at Curtin Kalgoorlie as Industry Liaison Coordinator for the WA School of Mines. Danielle is a former Director of Home and Lifestyle Options (HALO), a Christian-led, not-for-profit based out of Armadale (in Perth) that delivers aged and disability support services to the south-east metropolitan region and served on their Board for five years (2018 to 2023), with two-and-a-half of those as Chair.

Helen Kenny
Helen joined the Board in August 2012 and was Chair from 2014-2022. She is the owner and manager of Design Sense and has a teaching background, as well as 12 years of service in Children's Ministry at Kalgoorlie Baptist Church. Helen is married to Paul, has four adult children and three grandchildren, and has lived in Kalgoorlie-Boulder since January 1988.
Vaughan Pirie
"Vaughan joined the Board in May 2022. He is the pastor of Kalgoorlie Baptist Church. He joined the board with many life experiences: He has an accounting and business qualification, he was one of the founding teachers of GBC, he and his wife Cathy served for more than 11 years in Thailand as Cross-Cultural workers working with a multi-national organisation, and served as the Families Pastor for a church for three years once their time in Thailand came to a conclusion. He and Cathy have two school aged sons and he is an avid West Coast Eagles supporter."
Jonnene
"Jonnene joined the GBC Board in late 2022, but her first involvement with GBC was as a primary and early childhood teacher from 2005-2008. She currently works as a Lead School Psychologist with the Department of Education, based in Kalgoorlie. Jonnene is on the leadership team of 247 church, and has served and led the worship team over the past 12 years. She is proud mum to one son (and daughter-in-law) and three primary-aged grandchildren."
Judy
Judy joined the Board in October 2022. She has 25 years’ experience teaching in Christian schools in Western Australia. In 2022 she moved from the South West where she was Head of Primary, to Kalgoorlie to be with family. Judy has three children and six grandchildren. She is currently semi-retired, helping to look after two beautiful and energetic grandchildren while also doing relief teaching.
